Join Bullfrog Films on Wednesday, April 29, at 7:30pm Eastern, for a virtual screening of the short 37-minute film
From Sea to Shining Sea followed by a Q&A with filmmaker John de Graaf.
De Graaf will join Bullfrog Films co-founder John Hoskyns-Abrahall to discuss the film and take your questions.
From Sea to Shining Sea tells the story of Katharine Lee Bates who, in the 1890s, wrote the poem that became the anthem "America the Beautiful." Her appreciation of the beautiful land and passion for the people who make up this nation-under-construction, resonates today. The values she wrote into her poem can inspire celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence this summer.

Ancient Spells and Incantations
Enid Baxter Ryce
Each page of
Ancient Spells and Incantations holds verses adapted from text unearthed through extensive research—grimoires, letters, and trial transcripts from across the ages and around the world. Enid Baxter Ryce painstakingly researched this collection, finding fragments from across the centuries. Translating some from Latin and Old English herself, Enid has made the spells accessible to today’s witches. What was once whispered or chanted, spiraling in cursive, or carved in stone, still echoes like a song. The words that survived connect us to that ancient magic, and we can feel the truth and power.
